Made of Kiso hinoki (cypress wood) by a woodworker, this wooden bucket is extremely lightweight and highly durable in the presence of water. Originally used for storing rinse-water during bathing, this bucket is designed with thin side panels and is small in size for easy handling.

Kiso hinoki wood is widely used as a premium building material in the construction of temples and shrines and is considered one of the three most beautiful types of wood in Japan.
