A part of the Hasami Porcelain Collection, the Hasami Tray made from walnut wood is a perfect complement to the collection’s porcelain pieces. Transforming into a lid or even a plate, this versatile piece can be used in a variety of settings, indoors or outdoors, and separately or as part of a set.
With a four hundred-year history, Hasami in Nagasaki Prefecture is Japan's leading region for pottery. While traditional techniques and designs continue to be employed to this day, Taku Shinimoto, owner of a popular boutique in Venice, California, has lent his vision to these traditions in order to create innovative tableware with a modern twist.
