Made of stainless steel, the design of these scissors features a curve that flows from blade to handles. Made by Hayashi Cutlery in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, the leading area in Japan for the production of bladed tools, each piece is carefully processed, assembled, and fine-tuned by a blade craftsman to assure exceptional sharpness and durability. In addition, the finger holes are ringed with rubber for comfort and ease of use. While these scissors may feel somewhat heavy at first, the smooth and graceful movement of the blades is addictive.
