Part of Takeshi Nii’s world renowned NyChair X series, the 80 has now re-launched with a natural higher sitting and armrest height to achieve a modern look without losing any of its comfortability features.
First produced in 1980, only 10 years after the original NyChair X, it was designed to meet the needs of changing times and to adjust to the more westernized looks and lifestyle. The armrests are designed so your arms naturally rest from your elbows, a S-shaped backrest for lower back support, and lastly the seat height and depth have been calculated so that you may firmly plant your feet on the ground while sitting. Also utilizing the Kurashiki Canvas that is a durable, finely-textured material that works to create a cocoon-like feeling while sitting, and it can be folded easily for easy portability and more compact for storing.
