Yohaku

Porcelain Aroma Stone - Egg

$ 49.70

A quiet vessel for scent—absorbing and releasing fragrance in gentle rhythm.

Handcrafted in Hizen Yoshida, a historic kiln region in Saga Prefecture with over 400 years of porcelain tradition, the Egg Aroma Stone is made from unglazed porcelain that softly diffuses fragrance without the use of heat or flame. A few drops of aroma oil or mist are absorbed into the surface, gradually releasing scent into the air. Its smooth, organic form evokes calm and simplicity, blending easily into any interior setting.

Through the union of heritage porcelain and Yohaku’s tranquil scents, the stone offers a new form of calm—a moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

Rooted in Japanese aesthetics, Yohaku means “margin” or “space.” Guided by the idea that scent can create room for stillness, Yohaku explores the quiet connection between nature and time.

Yohaku

Founded under the creative direction of Shinichiro Nakahara, Yohaku is a Japanese fragrance brand that explores the quiet relationship between nature, time, and the senses. The word Yohaku—meaning “margin” or “space” in Japanese—expresses the idea that beauty is found not in what fills a space, but in what is left open. Through fragrance, Yohaku invites this openness into daily life, creating moments that allow the mind and body to rest.

Each scent is crafted with 100% naturally derived fragrances, featuring botanical ingredients such as hinoki, camphor wood, and yuzu. Rather than overwhelm, these fragrances harmonize gently with their surroundings, evoking the subtle transitions of light, air, and mood throughout the day.

Working closely with fragrance advisor Mitsuyoshi Yatagai, Yohaku distills this philosophy into quiet, balanced compositions that reflect the purity of nature and the passage of time. More than a fragrance, Yohaku is an experience of margin and presence—a reminder that stillness itself can be deeply fragrant.
